samples   training programs   user & technical docs   online help   reference guides   magazines & newsletters   project management     expert witness restaurant mgmt   back to samples main   project management consulting    1  2  >         Consultant & Expert Witness for a Fire-Related Claim   Wausau Insurance underwrote a large, well known international correspondence school.   The school had used traditional typesetting methods for decades, but had just created a new team to begin converting their publishing method to electronic publishing.   When the school had a fire in their archive room, they sustained significant damage to the photos and artwork for over 1,500 original books, and filed a claim with Wausau.   Wausau asked us to evaluate the school's old & new publishing methods, document their procedures, establish values for both methods, and help Wausau negotiate an equitable settlement.   This project lasted over two years and the case eventually went to arbitration, where our founder was deposed as an expert witness.
