Jan Johansen founded Johansen & Associates in 1985 with the desire to provide large & small businesses with a diverse & talented team of
technical communications specialists. "Our business model allows us to select just the right talent for every aspect of every project," said Jan, speaking from her Naperville, Illinois office.
   
"All of our team members are independent consultants, not contractors, with their own businesses. Now that technology makes it possible to
exchange information & work 'virtually' from anywhere, we can work more efficiently, reduce overhead, & pass the savings on to our clients."
   
The Johansen & Associates core team has over 75 years of combined experience, and the resources & unique skills to take every project from start to finish. “We can research, write, design, & produce any type of user, procedural, & technical document or training project,” said Jan. "And, for companies with their own in-house staff, we can teach them how to improve the quality of their documents & manage their projects more effectively."
